Who are we?
The Marches Growth Hub is a gateway for business support provision in Shropshire. It acts as a ‘one stop shop’ for all businesses, offering access to all types of business support: for start-ups, early stage and growth and to contribute more broadly to the economic wellbeing and prosperity of the county.
Shropshire’s main Growth Hub is situated at The Shropshire Food Enterprise Centre on the Battlefield Enterprise Park, supported by two satellite offices at the University Centre Shrewsbury and The Marches Centre for Manufacturing and Technology (MCMT) in Bridgnorth.
Since opening in March 2016, the Marches Growth Hub has provided businesses with a seamless, simple customer journey, helping businesses to navigate the business support maze, signposting to relevant advice, information, access to finance and funded programmes.
To engage with local entrepreneurs across the county, the Marches Growth Hub has designed an outreach programme, developing stronger partnerships and links with local business networks across the market towns.
As well as hosting a programme of events and workshops for the local business communities, the Marches Growth Hub offers a drop-in service and the opportunity to have face to face appointments. Other facilities include hot desking and access to meetings with public and private sector partner organisations.
